Job Description:

  • Should have 4+ years of experience
  • Experience working with Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Hypervisor & VMs
  • Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL
  • Prior experience in ticketing tools mandatory (Jira would be advantage)
  • Basin knowledge of Oracle Weblogic server & services
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace. Ability to prioritize
  • Interest in Cloud Engineering and its impact on greater business practices
  • Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work in coordination with the stakeholders (both internal & external) to support cloud, windows, Linux infrastructure
  • Provide technical assistance on Linux, cloud-based systems, and resolve operational problems like sign-on, logs for Support team
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services system setup, system administration, incident resolution, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery
  • Ensure timely liaison with vendors regarding problems, fixes, and required enhancements
  • Liaise with Release Manager regarding regular Software Patches & releases into Sandbox, Production & Hybrid environment
  • While the role is to liaise with Senior system Manager in day-to-day operations including but not limited to resource allocation, performance monitoring, compliance; assistance in handling Cloud related tickets, handling procurement of licenses & software / hardware via internal requestioning system and / or external vendors.
  • Track Cloud Incidents & prepare RCA for the same to be shared to customer
  • Prepare and Share Cloud Availability report to the Senior Leadership team

Certification as RHCSA, Cloud Security Certification, and/or AWS Solutions Architect certification a plus (Other cloud-related certification also a plus)


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus
